I feel horrible for not updating this since August! Yikes! Jenny continues to do well. She is now able to hang out in the yard with the rabbit as long as I am there to supervise. If she starts to chase, I just need to remind her with "no chase!" and she stops. The rabbit is the brave one who loves to sniff Jenny and run around in between her legs!

Jenny still loves playing chase games with Bela at night and in the morning. They are still getting along extremely well. Although they do not snuggle together when they nap, Bela has become MUCH more comfortable with laying on my lap while Jenny is nearby. I am so happy with how they act as sisters!

Jenny still loves to sleep in the bed with us and will stay in bed until I get up. She was not a fan of the rain we had this winter - I had to be very strategic about trying to get her out for walks when it was raining the least. Thankfully we had ZERO accidents in the house on the rainy days! Go Jenny!

She is getting more comfortable with Terry and Nancy and other people that come to visit. She had a great time when my parents came to visit, too! She still barks when people come over, but settles down after a minute or so. :)

We had a little scare when Jenny was sick. She had diarrhea and was weak on her walks and would just plop down and lay on people's lawns. The vet also heard a heart irregularity which scared us, but thankfully after some medication she was back to normal in a few days - heart included!
Poor Jenny didn't feel well :(
I noticed that Craig had really bonded even more with Jenny on his birthday. He wanted to make sure that she was included in his day - we took her for a hike and went out to lunch at Golden Road brewery. Ever since then he has been a bit more "Daddy-ish" with her, which has been absolutely adorable to watch. He had never had a dog before so I think it took him a little more time to feel fully bonded with her.

Pooped! It was a hot day!

Someone was so excited that we bought a piece of sod that she couldn't even wait for us to put it in!
Ears!
Jenny wasn't too happy with all of the trick-or-treaters we had on Halloween. She barked every time kids came to the door, so I had to use a baby gate to block her off while I handed out treats.

Jenny still gets nervous whenever there is change going on. We painted the downstairs over Thanksgiving and she had a bit of a hard time seeing the furniture moved and all of the activity when we painted.
Relaxing when we took a painting break

With Gobbles on Thanksgiving. We are thankful that she does not destroy our stuffed animals!
We celebrated Jenny's birthday and adoption day in October. It is so hard to think that there are so many amazing dogs in shelters that might not ever be given a chance because they look scared. We are forever thankful to Ready Pet Rescue for giving her a chance. She has changed our lives so much and filled our home with even MORE love!!

From shelter......to SPOILED!

Ear flip!
She LOVES to play fetch with "boney-bone!" We tell her to get boney bone and she brings it to the blue rug, drops the bone, and sits for a treat. Then we throw it and she fetches it and brings it back. SO cute!!!!!

Christmas picture I sent to people
She accidentally thought this dog was "boney bone" when I told her to go get boney bone!

Christmas on the beach - windy day!

She didn't realize that you have to OPEN your gifts!

Then once she figured out that there's gifts inside, she wanted to open everyone's!

Thankful for a warm day

She needs to be in mom's lap as much as possible!

She loves to lay here when the dishwasher cycle is done because the countertop is super warm.

Loves the clean laundry!

Jenny is still doing well with her new brother, Blanco the bunny. He is outside now and Jenny likes to visit him by his bunny mansion to say hi.
I wish that I could have Blanco and Jenny running around the yard together, but Jenny is waaay too interested in Blanco when he is out of the hutch. I just can't risk anything happening to either of them, so I spend time with Blanco alone outside....much to Jenny's jealousy, I'm sure!
LOVE!!!!!!

Jenny's first trip to Home Depot!

Whatcha buying, Dad?

My mat! No, MY mat!

Ok....OUR mat!

This is what happened when I was doing yoga!
I've been working on Jenny cooling it a bit when it comes to playing chase with Bela at night. Luckily she responds well to me calling her over when I see that it is about to happen, but sometimes I can't catch her in the act. I noticed the other day that she was play grabbing at Bela's neck, like she would if she was playing with a dog....I know she means no harm, but I need to continue to be vigilant about the chasing training.

Here's a picture of one of Jenny's BFFs...Lefty. Whenever she sees him she gets SO excited. This week she even started barking when she saw him from afar. She RARELY ever barks on walks, so she must have just been SUPER excited to see Lefty!
